Location: Noida (Work from Office), Bengaluru (WFH), Chennai (Work from Office)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for generating leads, meeting sales targets, and promoting products or services directly to domestic as well as global customers. This role involves engaging with potential clients, building relationships, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. This is a field sales role, hence travelling is required to meet with customers in-person domestic as well as global.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
Identify and target potential customers through various channels including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
Sales Presentations:
Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
Tailor sales pitches to meet the specific needs and interests of each client.
Customer Engagement:
Establish strong relationships with new customers.
Understand customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Achieve Sales Targets:
Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall team sales goals.
Track and report on sales performance regularly.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Sales Administration:
Prepare and submit sales contracts and agreements.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Market Research:
Gather and analyze market information to identify new sales opportunities.
Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams on customer preferences and market trends.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other sales team members to share best practices and strategies.
Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's/master’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience (1-4 years) in direct sales or a similar role is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
