About Our Client

The fund is an AIF Cat 2 growth fund started by an industry veteran who has spent 12 years as a senior private equity professional in India. It is India's first fund dedicated to investing in the 'Early-Growth' stage, when annualised revenues of the target private companies are in the range of INR 100 - 400 Cr. 'Early-Growth' equity investing requires a customized approach that is distinct in style from both Private-Equity (Late-growth) and Venture-Capital (Early-stage). Their founder has developed, refined and templatized the 'Early-Growth' approach with 24 investments and 15 exits over 17 years.

Job Description


Deal Execution : (End to end deal sourcing to evaluation) Be self driven and be responsible to source deals independently and also manage data, resources and vendors required for executing the diligence planFinancial and valuation analysis including financial modellingWritten memos and presentationsManage documentation related to the investment process


Industry / sector coverage:

To ideate on the set of transactable opportunities on the industry pipelineDeal sourcing which will include interfacing with bankers, potential investees, peers in other funds for investment/co-investment opportunities, etc


Portfolio Monitoring:

Building relationships with portfolio companies at appropriate levelsTo solve for business, shareholder issues at portfolio companiesIdentify, ideate and execute on value creation initiatives at portfolio companies
