Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Banking & Finance Lawyer to join our reputable law firm. As an associate you will play a pivotal role in providing legal counsel and support for a wide range of transactional work.

Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and negotiate various documents.- Provide legal advice to clients financial & regulatory laws.- Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations that may impact client transactions.- Applicant should have experience in Banking & Finance law and transactional work.- Applicant should possess experience in drafting and reviewing loan security agreements, handling regulatory matters, conducting due diligence for such transactions.- Providing legal counsel to clients in Banking and Finance industry.- Applicant should have a good understanding of financial market, lending practices, and ability to work on complex financial structures and transactions.- Manage matters efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate and organized legal documentation.- Financing experience is mandatory (particularly structured finance, cross border financing, working with foreign banks or lenders)- Mentor and provide guidance to junior lawyers.

Qualifications:

- Law degree from an accredited law school.- Proven 3-8 years of experience as a Banking & Finance lawyer, preferably with a reputable law firm.- Strong understanding of RBI regulations, contract law, company law, regulatory law & commercial/business terms- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Proficiency in legal research and drafting transaction documents.- Demonstrated track record of providing sound legal advice and strategic thinking to clients.
