Job Description

Key Responsibilities
 Assist in the design and implementation of database solutions based on business requirements.

 Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application development and data analysis.

 Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate database solutions into applications and workflows.

 Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

 Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to database development and administration.

 Contribute to the documentation of database schemas, processes, and standards to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

 2-3 years of professional experience in database development, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server.

 Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

 Familiarity with database design principles, normalization, and indexing techniques.

 Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques to enhance database efficiency.

 Knowledge of database administration tasks such as backups, restores, and security management.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

 Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 Experience with Azure SQL or other cloud-based database platforms is a plus.
