We aim to be the preferred platform for capex project procurement and lead generation for suppliers in oil and gas industry


Position Overview:

As a Supplier Success Associate, you will be pivotal in ensuring suppliers respond promptly to inquiries on Workwise, enhancing their experience and success on the platform. This role also involves proactively onboarding suppliers, educating them about the platform’s benefits for lead generation, and fostering strong relationships. You will be responsible for initial supplier outreach, maintaining engagement, and supporting their needs.


Key Responsibilities:


Supplier Onboarding and Engagement

Proactively reach out to new suppliers via calls, emails, and chats to introduce them to Workwise.

Clearly communicate the benefits of Workwise in generating leads and enhancing supplier visibility.

Guide suppliers through the onboarding process and support them with profile setup and RFQ response mechanisms.

Preferred Experience: Ideal candidates will have a background in working with vendors in the oil and gas industry, allowing them to relate to and better support supplier needs in this sector.

Response Management

Monitor supplier responses to RFQs and follow up to ensure timely and high-quality replies.

Develop rapport with suppliers to encourage engagement and streamline the response process.

Address any supplier queries about RFQs, offering guidance on best practices for response.

Relationship Building and Support

Maintain regular communication with suppliers to build long-term relationships.

Act as the primary contact for suppliers, assisting them with issues, inquiries, or feedback on the platform.

Essential Skills: Candidates should be great listeners and communicators, with the ability to reason effectively and establish trust. The ideal candidate has a talent for building rapport over phone calls, making suppliers feel heard and valued.

Gather and share supplier feedback with internal teams to inform platform improvements.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

Track key metrics related to supplier responsiveness and engagement on Workwise.

Provide regular reports on supplier performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Work collaboratively with the team to optimise supplier success strategies based on performance insights.

Continuous Process Improvement

Identify areas for streamlining supplier management and response processes.

Collaborate with product and operations teams to develop enhancements for a better supplier experience.


Qualifications:

  • Industry Background: Experience in supplier or vendor management, especially within the oil and gas industry, is highly preferred.
  • Communication Strength: Exceptional listening and communication skills, with a focus on reasoning and rapport-building over the phone.
  • Ambition and Growth Orientation: A strong internal drive to excel, with a hunger to become the best in the role.
