Razorpay | Area Manager

We are currently looking for exceptional sales professionals to join our Mid Market Sales team in Razorpay POS. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in driving sales, mid-size corporate client relationships, excellent communication skills and a strong desire to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
*** Please Note: This is an individual contributor role.
Location: Delhi/NCR, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Kolkata
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Experience in Mid Market enterprise acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of Mid Market accounts / customers to go after.
- Hunt and own Mid Market merchants for Razorpay POS business.
- An individual contributor who relentlessly chases, achieves and exceeds sales targets.
- Manages channel partners performance based on agreed business plans.
- Manage the development of channel forecast cadence and periodic review processes.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in mid-size enterprises.
- Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Sells through channel partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Train channel partners salesforce on Razorpay POS product/ solution offerings along with sales skills.
- Manages potential conflict with other firm/competitors by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to rules of engagement.
- Drives adoption of company programs.
- Ability to understand customer pain points.
- Passionate about sales, revenues, targets and a go-getter.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 6+ years of merchant acquiring experience preferably in Fintech or Banking Industry.
- Experience in pitching to the CXOs of mid-size enterprises.
- Geographical knowledge with market working knowledge.
- Ability to work under high work pressure.
- Relationship skills – You will need to manage relationship
- Sound knowledge of sales and sales administration processes.
- Fluency in local languages.
