Role Overview

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong sales teams, and expanding our footprint in assigned territories. The ideal candidate comes with experience in Insurance or EdTech sales, with proven expertise in consultative selling, B2C engagement, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve territory sales targets.
  • Drive customer acquisition through direct sales, channel sales, and referral strategies.
  • Develop and execute territory-level sales plans aligned with company goals.
  • Train, mentor, and upskill the sales team for high performance and productivity.
  • Manage sales funnel, track performance metrics, and ensure strong conversion ratios.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments in the region.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience by aligning product offerings with customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to implement campaigns and feedback-driven improvements.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, market insights, and competitor activities.

Key Requirements

  • MBA in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of sales experience, in team handling.
  • Strong background in Insurance / EdTech sales (consultative & solution selling experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to analyze data and make decisions.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory as required.
