Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Thrissur for a Billing Executive. Sales & Billing staff are responsible for assisting customers with purchases, ensuring accurate billing and cash handling, maintaining a positive shopping experience, and supporting the overall operations of the supermarket.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Duties

  • Greet customers and provide assistance in locating products.
  • Promote and upsell products, offers, and loyalty programs.
  • Maintain product knowledge to answer customer queries effectively.
  • Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and clean.
  • Monitor product expiry dates and assist in stock rotation.
  • Handle customer complaints politely and escalate when necessary.

Billing Duties

  • Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process customer purchases.
  • Scan items, apply discounts/offers, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Collect payments via cash, card, UPI, or other payment methods.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per policy.
  • Reconcile cash drawers at the end of shifts.
  • Maintain accuracy and prevent billing errors or discrepancies
