Position Summary

As a Senior Manager in Leadership Development, the candidate will play a pivotal role in nurturing and enhancing leadership capabilities within our organization. This position is based in India and requires a deep understanding of the local business landscape, cultural nuances, and leadership requirements. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership development programs tailored to the needs of our leaders in India, ensuring alignment with global leadership development strategies and objectives

Qualifications

Primary Skills:

Ability to assess the current and future leadership needs of the organization. design comprehensive leadership development programs tailored to the specific needs and objectives of the organization. Competence in developing engaging and relevant curriculum content. Proficiency in facilitating leadership development sessions effectively. Ability to provide guidance, feedback, and encouragement to help leaders develop their skills and achieve their goals. Knowledge and administrate behavioral and leadership assessments such as 360-degree feedback, self-assessments, and performance evaluations. Effective communicators Manage various components of the leadership development program, including timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders.

Role Expectations:

As a Senior Manager in Leadership Development, the candidate will play a pivotal role in nurturing and enhancing leadership capabilities within our organization. This position is based in India and requires a deep understanding of the local business landscape, cultural nuances, and leadership requirements. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership development programs tailored to the needs of our leaders in India, ensuring alignment with global leadership development strategies and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive leadership development strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Design and facilitate leadership training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions for executives, managers, and senior leaders in the organization. Conducting training needs analysis using both structured and informal methods to capture requirements across the institution. Drive and facilitate the implementation of the L&D plan to ensure smooth execution with effective outcomes. Refining existing systems and processes, and setting up new processes as required, including preparing and tracking the annual L&T Budget for leadership development initiatives. Collaborate with HR business partners and senior leadership to identify leadership development needs and priorities. Utilize various assessment tools and methodologies to identify leadership strengths, gaps, and development opportunities. Mentor and coach emerging leaders to accelerate their growth and prepare them for future leadership roles. Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives through metrics, feedback, and continuous improvement processes. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in leadership development to enhance program effectiveness. Foster a culture of continuous learning and leadership excellence throughout the organization.

Structure and Reporting

This leader will report into the Director of Learning and Talent for India and will liaison with L&T Leaders to align leadership development program at the enterprise level. The candidate is expected to work in close cooperation with other members of the HR team along with mentoring and coaching of younger team members for their personal and professional growth.

Must have at least 10 to 12 years of relevant experience and a good understanding of L&D systems and processes, instructional design, content development, training delivery, and evaluation of training effectiveness. Exposure to working in an organization involved in education or training would be an added advantage.

Other qualifications required for this role include:

High quality written and verbal communication skills, strong listening skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate ability to interact with all levels in the organization. Demonstrate success in implementing innovative training techniques and learning technologies, in multiple areas including managerial and leadership development areas. Experience in conducting organizational, program level, and individual needs analysis to identify learning and development needs; experience in running targeted development programs. Good knowledge of the training/learning related offerings available in the market, including relevant training organizations and service providers and certification agencies Exposure to authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning development systems, tools, and resources. Certification in streams like psychometric, personality profiles, human potential assessments, Hogan, DISC, FIRO-B, ICF certification (ACC, PCC, MCC) would be an added advantage.
