Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced

Shopify & WordPress Developer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in developing and customizing both Shopify and WordPress websites. You will be responsible for building and maintaining complex, scalable websites, ensuring both high performance and a seamless user experience.As a Developer, you will work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to implement custom features, optimize existing sites, and troubleshoot issues. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be crucial in creating pixel-perfect, responsive layouts and delivering high-quality, well-optimized code.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain custom Shopify and WordPress websites, from conception to deployment.Collaborate with the design team to ensure the implementation of responsive and visually appealing layouts.Perform

complex customizations on both Shopify and WordPress themes , plugins, and apps.Customize and extend the functionality of Shopify and WordPress using Liquid (for Shopify), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues related to Shopify and WordPress websites.Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.Work with APIs and third-party integrations to extend website functionality.Maintain cross-browser compatibility, ensuring websites work seamlessly across different devices and platforms.Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients when necessary.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development.Skills & Qualifications:4-5 years of experience in Shopify and WordPress development.Strong proficiency in

HTML5 ,

CSS3 , and

JavaScript

(jQuery, React, or similar frameworks).Solid experience with

Shopify Liquid ,

WordPress PHP , and custom theme/plugin development.Hands-on experience with

Shopify Admin ,

Shopify Plus , and

Shopify Apps .In-depth knowledge of

WordPress

themes, plugins, and custom post types.Familiar with

WooCommerce

for e-commerce solutions in WordPress.Understanding of

API integrations , RESTful services, and working with third-party services.Strong experience with

responsive web design

and front-end development.Ability to work with

Git , version control, and other development tools.Knowledge of

SEO , performance optimization, and web security best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Nice to Have:Experience with other eCommerce platforms like

Magento ,

BigCommerce , or

Wix .Familiarity with

Figma or

Sketch

for design collaboration.Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
