Presales consultant – ecommerce

Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and propose effective e Commerce solutions.
Act as a technical advisor during customer meetings, presenting our solutions' benefits.
Conduct discovery sessions to assess customer pain points, goals, and technical environment.
Solution Design:
Develop tailored e Commerce solutions based on clients' business objectives.
Map client requirements to available solutions, customizing the product where necessary.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions with product capabilities.
Product Demonstrations and POCs:
Deliver compelling demos to showcase the value and capabilities of our e Commerce solutions.
Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to illustrate product fit and value.
Gather feedback and adapt presentations to client needs.
Proposal Development:
Draft and review technical proposals, including architecture, system integration, scalability, and security considerations.
Work closely with sales and marketing to ensure proposals meet client expectations and technical standards.
Create clear, persuasive content and presentations that align with client needs.
Market and Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on e Commerce trends, competitor products, and market developments.
Provide feedback to product teams for improvement and future enhancements based on client interactions.
Support marketing efforts by contributing to product positioning and competitive analysis.
Relationship Management:
Build long-term relationships with customers by providing excellent service during and after the sales process.
Act as the point of contact for technical inquiries and support customer satisfaction initiatives.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in presales or a similar client-facing, technical consulting role, preferably within the e Commerce domain.
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of e Commerce platforms (e.g. Oracle Commerce Cloud, SFCC, Magento, Shopify, Woo Commerce) and related technologies.
Familiarity with backend systems such as ERP, CRM, CMS, and their integration with e Commerce platforms.
Basic knowledge of front-end development, APIs, and cloud-based solutions is a plus.
Sales and Presentation Skills:
Proven ability to engage and persuade customers, presenting complex technical solutions in an easy-to-understand manner.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write proposals and deliver presentations.
Analytical Abilities: Ability to quickly understand client needs, diagnose challenges, and propose optimal solutions.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering.
