Job Overview:
We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic Project Sales Engineer for our Kolkata location. The candidate should have a strong background in industrial/project sales, with at least 4 years of experience. The role involves extensive travel across Eastern Zone states and neighboring countries to generate inquiries, support project sales, and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate inquiries for projects within the capital goods, automation, air piping, and compressor industries.
- Develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with potential clients in the assigned region.
Client Engagement
- Meet with clients to understand their project needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Provide technical consultation and present the benefits of our products and services.
Preparation of Offers
- Prepare and submit quotations/commercial offers to clients.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accuracy in pricing and project feasibility.
Travel & Site Visits
- Plan and conduct frequent visits across Odisha, Bihar, North Eastern States, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
- Perform client meetings, site inspections, and project discussions to ensure business growth.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the project and technical teams to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain sales records, leads, and project updates in the CRM.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
- BE Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of project sales or industrial equipment sales experience.
Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and suggest solutions.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Self-driven, proactive, and willing to travel extensively.
Personal Traits:
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with teams.
- Energetic, adaptable, and customer-focused.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
