Job Description

Performance Personnel Services is currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team

Territory - Mobile AL to Panama City and surrounding area
A Business Development Representative (BDR) is a sales rep who focuses on generating qualified prospects using cold email, cold calling, social selling, and networking .
5 days a week - $45K salary + Mileage + 10% of new accounts net profit - potential of upwards of $100K per year

Job Description:


  • The Rep will be responsible for maintaining and building revenue in designated sales territory.

  • Exceeds sales revenue quotas by winning new contracts and job orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships.

  • Identifies and qualifies sales opportunities by providing a consultative and value-added approach to developing relationships. Negotiates contractual terms and conditions for employment services and works with the operations and recruiting teams to ensure smooth hand-offs.

  • Define and develop lead generation strategies and marketing plans for new accounts to penetrate existing accounts further.

  • Present company service offerings to prospective clients, client consultation, and development of proposals.

  • Maintains an ongoing relationship with prospective clients, both in-person and by phone, continuously assessing and communicating how Performance Personnel can meet their needs.

  • Develops and executes sales presentations to potential clients

  • Coordinate with the Recruiting team to on board new clients, including completing and submitting job order tickets to the Recruiting Manager, facilitate introductions between new clients and assigned Customer Service Representatives, and work with the recruiting-team to set up customized services according to client’s specifications.

  • Manage all new accounts in designated sales territory, ensuring clients’ needs are met, problems are solved, and issues are addressed.

  • Initiates personal growth by understanding market trends, attending educational sessions, and actively networking.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • The Sales representative will be required to initiate and organize meetings and phone calls with prospects, prepare professional emails, participate in the preparation of sales collateral and will require advanced communication and negotiating skills.

  • Ability to analyze industry trends and penetrate key client organizations across sales territory.

  • A high level of comfort with performing cold calls and delivering professional, formal presentations.

  • The ability to identify prospective customers’ needs, propose solutions and convert prospects to clients.

  • Action and results oriented attitude. Capable of developing a strong business case for client action and skills to close the sale.

  • An ideal culture fit is an individual with a passion for building relationships in and outside of the company and enjoys working in a relaxed and professional atmosphere.

  • 1-3 years of successful sales experience and a proven track record of closing new accounts.

  • Previous experience in selling staffing solutions is preferred but not required

  • Experience using Sales CRM, MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel

Requirements
Requirements: Proven experience as an Inside Sales Representative or in a similar sales role. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with customers and deliver persuasive sales pitches. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for managing leads and tracking performance. Self-motivated and proactive with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
