Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Track and Trace Division, Control Print Limited
Job Description: The Senior Branch Sales Manager (West and South) for the Track and Trace Division at Control Print Limited will be responsible for driving sales and business development activities within the specified regions (West and South). This role involves managing the sales of Track and Trace solutions in the pharmaceutical sector, fostering client relationships, and ensuring effective project execution from lead generation to order securing. The Regional Sales Manager will also oversee the coordination between internal teams and clients to deliver projects successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership & Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for the West and South regions to promote and sell Track and Trace solutions.
- Achieve region-specific sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate the regional sales team to reach individual and team goals, ensuring a collaborative approach to meeting sales objectives.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key pharmaceutical clients and industry partners in the West and South regions.
- Understand client needs and tailor Track and Trace solutions to meet their compliance requirements.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, providing product expertise and addressing inquiries.
- Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Identify new sales opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector, specifically focusing on Track and Trace solutions.
- Explore and develop new business avenues and partnerships within the region to increase market share.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to secure new business and expand existing accounts.
- Project Coordination & Execution:
- Coordinate with internal teams (IT, Sales, Service, and Production) to ensure smooth execution of Track and Trace projects for clients.
- Ensure timely delivery, implementation, and post-sales support for Track and Trace solutions, managing the entire lifecycle of the project.
- Regional Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance within the West and South regions, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies and improve performance.
- Product Knowledge & Sales Support:
- Provide deep product knowledge and technical expertise on Track and Trace systems, assisting clients in understanding product features, benefits, and compliance requirements.
- Train and support the regional sales team in product knowledge, sales techniques, and relationship-building skills.
Desired Profile and Experience:
Total Work Experience: Minimum 8+ years in sales, with at least 2-3 years of experience in selling Track and Trace solutions & 5 Years into Team handling preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Professional Experience:
- Experience in sales of Track and Trace/compliance solutions or related technologies within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing regional sales teams and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
- Experience in business development, client management, and driving revenue growth in the assigned regions.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Leadership and Team Management: Strong ability to lead, manage, and motivate a sales team, ensuring target achievement and collaboration.
- Sales Expertise: In-depth understanding of sales strategies, business development, and sales cycle management.
- Client-Focused: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Track and Trace solutions market, including trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to analyze market data, sales performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferably Engineering, Sales, or Business Administration).
- Proven success in managing regional sales teams and handling large-scale projects in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Compensation: CTC (Cost to Company): Up to 16 Lakhs per Annum, based on experience and qualifications.
