Job Overview: 

As a Business Development Associate, you will assist in expanding our product reach and market share. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, lead generation, market research, maintaining relationships with clients, and supporting strategic initiatives. Your efforts will be crucial in helping us penetrate new markets and increase our visibility in the food industry. Ability to travel and follow up with potential B2B customers is necessary.


Position is on-site in Bangalore.


Responsibilities:


1) Market Research:

  • Support market analysis efforts to pinpoint trends and opportunities in the food sector.
  • Assist in evaluating the competitive landscape to help position our products effectively.


2) Relationship Management:

  • Help maintain and grow relationships with existing partners.
  • Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential new partners.


3) Assist in Strategic Planning:

  • Support the development of strategies for entering new markets and expanding in existing ones.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure alignment of business development strategies with company goals.


4) Sales Support and Coordination:

  • Assist in preparing presentations and sales pitches for potential business partners.
  • Help track sales targets and outcomes from business development initiatives.


5) Administrative and Reporting Tasks:

  • Help manage data and prepare reports on business development activities and results.
  • Support the tracking and analysis of performance metrics.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a business role, with a preference for candidates with exposure to the food industry.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to meet with clients and partners as needed.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a startup environment or in a business role within the food sector.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM software and data analysis tools.
