We are seeking an experienced candidate for the role of Assistant Manager - Purchase to manage procurement and supply chain activities essential for the smooth operation of our projects.

About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and a keen understanding of supply chain optimization. They will be responsible for:
- Creating, processing, and managing Purchase Orders (POs) in line with project requirements.
- Coordinating with vendors for order confirmations and timely delivery.
- Working closely with the finance team to process vendor payments on time.
- Collaborating with project & design teams to ensure equipment specifications & requirements are met.
- Tracking production timelines and ensuring timely material dispatch.
- Building & maintaining vendor relationships.
- Maintaining purchase records, supplier details & pricing reports for effective procurement analysis.
- Evaluating supplier performance & quality compliance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing.
- Knowledge of procurement processes in EPC projects.
- Experience in handling Import shipments.
- Understanding of vendor management, invoice processing, and dispatch coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Commerce, or an engineering field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, ERP/SAP systems, MS Excel, and procurement software.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
