About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced candidate for the role of Assistant Manager - Purchase to manage the procurement and supply chain activities essential for the smooth operation of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and a keen understanding of supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create, process, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in line with project requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for order confirmations and timely delivery.
- Work closely with the finance team to process vendor payments on time.
- Collaborate with project & design teams to ensure equipment specifications & requirements are met.
- Track production timelines and ensure timely material dispatch.
- Build & maintain vendor relationships
- Maintain purchase records, supplier details & pricing reports for effective procurement analysis.
- Evaluate supplier performance & quality compliance.

Skills we're looking for:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing
- Knowledge of procurement processes in EPC projects.
- Experience in handling Import shipments
- Understanding of vendor management, invoice processing, and dispatch coordination.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Commerce, or an engineering field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, ERP/SAP systems, MS Excel, and procurement software.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
