Job Role: Purchase – Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Development (Indirect goods & services)
Key Focus
The primary focus of this role will be responsible for Strategic sourcing, Vendor Development & Commercial part.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for Indirect goods and services, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
Ensure adherence to budgetary norms, process (PO) timelines, quality requirements and costs targets and maintain turnaround times.
Analyze and identify cost-saving opportunities in the procurement of Indirect goods and services .
Track and report on cost savings achieved through procurement initiatives.
Work closely with internal departments, including Maintenance, Tool Room, Manufacturing Engineering and HR to understand their procurement needs and provide best support in sourcing of Goods and services.
Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Cost reduction through Negotiation / Localization / Alternate sourcing / Cost Saving.
Release supplier performance report on monthly basis.
Cost reduction/saving project through VAVE .
Supplier Audit and closure of Non-Conformance.

Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (postgraduate degree preferred)
Total work experience of 7-12 years with at least 5-6 years in Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Development
Excellent project planning skills
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly proficient in using MS-Office, project planning software and using Analytics
