Job description:

As an Intern in the CEO Office at Hashed Emergent, you will play a crucial role in supporting key functions related to strategy, business development, and new initiatives. This dynamic position provides a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gaining insights into the world of venture capital in the web3 space.


Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Strategy:

  • Assist in researching and analysing market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in web3 technologies
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the overall strategic vision for Hashed Emergent
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify strategic priorities and implement initiatives to achieve organisational goals

2.Business Development:

  • Support the identification and evaluation of potential investment opportunities in web3 startups within emerging markets
  • Assist in conducting due diligence on prospective projects, including market analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessment
  • Engage with entrepreneurs and startups, fostering relationships and representing Hashed Emergent professionally

3.New Initiatives:

  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to conceptualise and implement new initiatives aligned with the fund’s mission and vision
  • Participate in the planning and execution of pilot programs or experimental projects to test innovative concepts
  • Monitor and report on the progress of new initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in web3 technologies, blockchain, and emerging markets
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Familiarity with venture capital, startups, or the web3 ecosystem is a plus
