Reports To: Plant Head / Head – IT & Digital

Role Purpose

The Section Head – ERP & IT will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of Oracle ERP modules (P2P, O2C, PL2P, F&A, and WMS) along with IT infrastructure set-up for a Greenfield project at Bilaspur. This role will ensure smooth ERP implementation, integration with business processes, and reliable IT infrastructure for plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Management

Lead implementation and support of Oracle ERP modules:

P2P (Procure-to-Pay)

O2C (Order-to-Cash)

PL2P (Plan-to-Produce)

F&A (Finance & Accounts)

WMS (Warehouse Management System)

Partner with business teams to map processes and configure ERP solutions accordingly.

Ensure data accuracy, system stability, and compliance with corporate IT policies.

Drive continuous improvements, user training, and support for ERP modules.

IT Infrastructure & Greenfield Set-Up

Design, plan, and implement IT infrastructure for the new plant including:

Network architecture (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).

Internet and VPN connectivity.

Server, storage, backup systems, and cloud integration.

IT security, firewalls, and endpoint protection.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely commissioning of IT systems.

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for plant IT systems.

Oversee IT asset management, licensing, and compliance.

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead the ERP & IT team for project execution and ongoing operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Production, Finance, Sales, Logistics) to ensure ERP & IT alignment with business goals.

Act as the key liaison between Plant operations and Corporate IT/Digital teams.

Build a reliable support ecosystem for ERP and IT services at the plant.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP modules (P2P, O2C, PL2P, F&A, WMS).

Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure set-up for manufacturing plants (preferably Greenfield projects).

Good understanding of networking, cloud, IT security, and server architecture.

Excellent project management, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead a team, manage stakeholders, and deliver under tight timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology / computer science / engineering.

8–10 years of experience in ERP & IT, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of ERP management and IT set-up for manufacturing operations.

Experience in Greenfield project IT/ERP implementation will be an added advantage.
