Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Advanced practice Physiotherapists to join the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department, Victorian Virtual Specialist Consult service and the Physiotherapy Department. Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. About the Role: The Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) is an established and innovative role within the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED) and the Victorian Virtual Specialist Consult (VVSC) service. This role is designed to deliver accessible, timely, and high-quality physiotherapy care to patients via virtual consultations.   The APP will autonomously manage a range of musculoskeletal complaints, develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate care with other healthcare providers and services to ensure comprehensive patient management. The ideal candidate will have clinical expertise in Advanced Practice Physiotherapy (APP), with a focus on Emergency care, and demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing of a diverse range of spinal and musculoskeletal complaints.    To be successful in this role you will have: Extensive clinical expertise in Emergency Department Advanced Practice Physiotherapy Experience in high level leadership, negotiation and interpersonal skills High level of skill in the service development, and evaluation Possess highly developed self-management skills including the ability to meet timelines and prioritise competing demands Ability to work in a time pressured environment Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management Next Steps . . .
