Northern Health is looking for an experienced Grade 4 Clinical or Health Psychologist to join Victoria’s first state-wide Virtual Pulmonary Rehabilitation (vPR) Service. This is an opportunity to contribute to a new model of care that supports people living with chronic respiratory disease through accessible, person-centred digital rehabilitation. Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg. About the Role: This role provides advanced psychological care within Victoria’s first state-wide Virtual Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service. It requires strong expertise in chronic illness, behaviour change and virtual group work, along with the ability to deliver targeted individual support for people living with chronic respiratory disease.  This role has the potential to offer a hybrid working arrangement, with the flexibility to work remotely. The role is responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, supporting self-management education, integrating psychological screening into routine care, and providing clinical leadership and supervision within the vPR team. To be successful in this role you will have: Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with endorsement in Clinical or Health Psychology Extensive experience in chronic illness management, adjustment, anxiety, depression and behaviour change Proven ability to deliver group programs and telehealth interventions Strong skills in virtual communication, collaboration and clinical leadership Commitment to culturally safe, trauma-informed, person-centred care Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within an innovative service model Next Steps . . .
