Job Description Head ofSales As the head of the salesdepartment your primary responsibility is to lead and manage thesales team to achieve the companys goals. You will be responsiblefor developing and implementing strategies that align with acompanys goals and objectives. This includes identifying potentialnew markets and opportunities analyzing trends and data andcreating sales plans to meet the companys revenuegoals.JobResponsibilities:
  • Developand implement salesstrategies :
  • Createstrategies that align with a companys goals and objectives. Thisincludes identifying potential new markets and opportunitiesanalyzing trends and data and creating sales plans to increaserevenue.
  • Analyzemarket trends and competitoractivity :
  • Stayuptodate on market trends and competitor activity. This includesanalyzing market data conducting research and using thisinformation to make informed salesdecisions.
  • Set salestargets and monitorperformance :
  • Settargets for the teams and monitor their performance to ensure theyachieve their goals. This includes analyzing sales data providingregular feedback to the team and making necessary planadjustments.
  • Managingand motivating the salesteam :
  • Manageand motivate sales team to achieve their individual and team goals.This includes recruiting training and coaching the team providingongoing support and creating a positive work environment thatfosters teamwork andcollaboration.
  • Buildingand maintaining customerrelationships :
  • Buildand maintain relationships with key customers. This involvesunderstanding their needs and preferences addressing their concernsand providing excellent customer service to ensuresatisfaction.
  • Collaboratingwith otherdepartments :
  • Collaboratewith other departments such as marketing and delivery teams toensure a coordinated approach to sales and company strategies. Thisincludes sharing market insights customer feedback and otherrelevant information to support organizationalgoals.
  • Managing anddriving sales teamsto :
  • Settingsales targets and monitoringperformance
  • Build& consistently maintain SalesPipeline
  • GenerateMarketing Qualified LeadGeneration
  • GenerateSales Qualified LeadGeneration
  • GenerateMeetings/Appointments with newLeads
  • Submit Proposalsto Prospects
  • NewCustomeracquisition
  • Upsell andcrosssell to existingcustomer
  • Achieve high salesconversion ratio
  • Generate revenueas per the defined salestargets
Qualifications /Skills:
  • Strongleadership skills to motivate & manage a team set cleargoals & expectations provide ongoing feedback &support and lead byexample.
  • Excellentcommunication skills including the ability to communicateeffectively with clients customers and team members. Deliverpersuasive presentations and pitches negotiate contracts and buildstrong relationships with key investors clients business leadersand customers.
  • Strongstrategic thinking skills including the ability to identify andevaluate opportunities to develop and implement sales plans andadapting to changes in amarket.
  • Stronganalytical skills including the ability to analyze sales dataidentify trends and make informed decisions using relevantinformation also to develop and implement datadriven salesstrategies that align with the companysgoals.
  • A clientfocusedmindset to understand the requirements and preferences of differentgroups of customers to deliver solutions that address thoseneeds.
  • Extensive salesexperience including an understanding of the entire sales process.This includes lead generation pipeline management and deal closurestrategies.
  • Strongunderstanding of the industry to identify market trends uniquecharacteristics of competitive landscapes and specific customerneeds.
  • Effective timemanagement to prioritize workflows to meet deadlines consistentlywhile achieving salestargets.
  • Ability toadapt to changing circumstances and are willing to try newstrategies and techniques may be more successful in their careers.Quickly adjust your approaches and strategies to meet evolvingcustomer needs and marketconditions.
  • 1520 yearsof experience into Sales function performing roles like telecallingdoing handson sales managing sales teams working in India as wellas global markets (like North America Eurpoe/UK Middle East andAPAC) & successfully generating revenue from thesemarkets
  • 10 years ofsoftware sales experience with 5 years of ERP software and servicesselling experience is must
  • 4 yearsof experience in performing Head of Salerole
Education:
  • Bachelors or master s degree with a concentration in sales or marketing orbusinessadministration.
