The jobholder is responsible for supporting Head of Business Management by extending business management function including developing, communication, obtaining buy-in, tracking and monitoring of suitable strategies and tactical initiatives, analysis of the P&L drivers and identification of opportunities/mitigants required to grow GPS business along with Country Head of GPS, Global Business Heads and other Business teams within GPS.

The role also enables delivery of INM GPS profitability targets through effective business and markets management in engagement with Clients, External/Internal Stakeholders, Head INM GPS Business Management, Head India GPS, and respective GPS INM Functional Heads. Achieved through driving country business reviews, working with INM GPS Mancom Teams to facilitate resolution of business challenges, developing market intelligence, building analytics to identify potential business opportunities/manage client attrition etc.

Principal Accountabilities:

Impact on the Business

Plan and drive INM GPS P&L growth in business management capacity through engagement with INM GPS Business Management Head, INM GPS Mancom Members and Stakeholders (Business / Functional Teams in INM). Develop suitable strategies and plan initiatives required to grow GPS INM business in engagement with INM GPS Management Committee.

Customers / Stakeholders

Drives and develops GPS’s understanding of how internal and external challenges will impact the demand for cash management services and GPS revenue in country. Drives enablement of GPS India target operating model / initiatives in engagement with Country GPS and Business stakeholders.

Leadership & Teamwork

Drives teamwork and communication across INM. Enhances communication between regional and country stakeholders. Live the Group Values

Operational Effectiveness & Control

Ensures appropriate internal controls. Suitably leverage INM GPS’s Business Analytics platform (‘Insight’) to drive enhanced business performance effectiveness. To ensure adherence to various aspect of risk management supporting GPS team. Requirements University Graduate with 5+ years of experience, preferably in a Bank. Proven background in managing system development life cycles and multi team deliveries. Strong project management skills and experience of working across geographies. Understanding of transaction banking business and products. Business management ( P&L management) expertise. Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Suite (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
