Key Responsibilities
Retail Store Launch and Setup:
Lead the planning and execution of new store launches, ensuring all timelines and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for store design, layout, and merchandising setup.
Oversee the recruitment and training of store teams prior to launch.
Develop and implement pre-launch marketing and promotional activities to drive initial footfall.
Leadership and Team Management:
Manage and mentor Store Managers, ensuring they are equipped to run store operations effectively.
Conduct regular training sessions to maintain consistent service and operational standards.
Foster a collaborative and motivated culture across all retail locations.
Retail Strategy and Execution:
Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
Monitor store operations to ensure they align with the company’s vision and standards.
Collaborate with the leadership team to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Sales and Customer Experience:
Ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience across all stores.
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring stores reflect the company’s values and mission.
Develop and implement strategies to drive footfall, increase conversions, and enhance customer loyalty.
Inventory and Product Management:
Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels for plants, planters, and accessories.
Work closely with procurement teams to maintain product quality and availability.
Monitor product performance and provide input for refining the product range.
Operational Excellence:
Establish and standardize operating procedures for all stores.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Provide guidance and troubleshoot operational challenges for Store Managers.
Marketing and Promotions:
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in-store campaigns and events, especially during the launch phase.
Ensure stores are visually appealing and aligned with seasonal themes and promotional strategies.
Reporting and Insights:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all stores and provide actionable insights.
Prepare and present reports on sales, operations, and customer feedback to the leadership team.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize store performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience: 5+ years in retail management, with a proven track record of launching and managing multiple store locations. Experience in lifestyle, home décor, or plant-related industries is preferred.
Strong leadership and multi-store management skills.
Excellent project management abilities, particularly in store launch and setup.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Passion for plants and knowledge of their care is a bonus.
