We are looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to ensure consistent quality standards across our wide range of products including masking tape, optical films, PVC films, PC films, PET films, all types of adhesive tapes, die-cuts, adhesives, and rubber foam products. The role involves implementing robust quality systems, monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and processes for tapes, films, adhesives, die-cuts, and rubber foam.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials (adhesives, foams, papers, plastics, films, etc.) and approve/reject as per set standards.
  • Conduct in-process inspections for coating, slitting, lamination, die-cutting, rewinding, and packaging operations.
  • Perform product testing – adhesion, peel strength, tack, tensile strength, thickness, holding power, elongation, optical clarity, and surface quality.
  • Monitor quality for multiple product categories (masking tapes, optical/PVC/PC/PET films, adhesives, rubber foam) and ensure specifications are met.
  • Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation as per ISO and customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma tools).
  • Coordinate with production, R&D, and sales teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Train operators and supervisors on product-specific quality standards and testing methods.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in quality operations.

Requirements

  • ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Polymer/Industrial Engineering.
  • Fresher or 1 year of experience in quality assurance, preferably in tapes, films, adhesives, foams, or related industries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
