YOUR JOB

As Regional Marketing Manager, you lead a team of Regional Crop Leads within the Asia Pacific region. You define the must win battles for the region and on this basis, you develop a marketing and sales plan. You provide input to the ‘Regional Head - Marketing and Sales’ on strategic customer and crop needs.

In your role as Regional Marketing Manager you will focus on:

  • Setting up a high performing team of Regional Crop Leads and Sales Specialists.
  • Establishing a strong link with the breeding team within the region.
  • Facilitating the transfer of long-term global strategies into regional tactics and short-term marketing and sales planning.
  • Translating regional market trends and needs into product offerings and solutions.
  • Ensuring a customer focus and driving excellence in the Key Account Management.
  • Ensuring regular customer segmentation and clear service level agreements.
  • Providing input on regional strategic customer and cross crop needs of the region.
  • Developing and delivering regional market intelligence.
  • Bringing pricing excellence in the region to maximize profit.
  • Ensuring marketing excellence by co-developing best practices.


YOUR TEAM

In this role you will join the Regional Marketing and Sales Leadership Team. You will lead a team of Regional Crop Leads and Marketing Specialists. In this highly dedicated team, you will deliver marketing excellence within the region Asia Pacific.


YOUR PROFILE

You have a background in agriculture, you are a Marketing and Sales enthusiast and a strategic thinker. With your sound business understanding you can translate business context into value adding M&S actions. Furthermore, you are a team player with high quality standards. With your entrepreneurial personality you are able, to challenge the status quo and to bring the sales department to the next level.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Academic working and thinking level, broad knowledge and experience in agricultural marketing (10 – 12 years)
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to develop successful business relationships with customers as well as internal teams
  • Demonstrates leadership, professionalism, and integrity at work
  • Willingness to implement strategic plans as well as to spontaneously take on responsibility and delve into a broad range of tasks
  • Regional and some international travel up to 50%
  • Excellent English language skills
