We are expanding aggressively across Eastern India and are looking for a strategic and dynamic Regional Sales Head to lead growth across Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Assam .
Role OverviewThe Regional Sales Head will be responsible for end-to-end business development, regional strategy execution, and sales leadership across Eastern India. This role demands strong enterprise and government sales expertise, deep local market knowledge, and the ability to lead high-performing teams in both metro and Tier 2/3 cities.
Key Responsibilities1. Regional Sales Leadership- Lead and manage state/city sales leaders in Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, and Guwahati.
- Align regional sales execution with national targets.
- Strengthen leadership capacity in Tier 2 & Tier 3 hubs.
- Own regional revenue targets and deliver consistently.
- Drive closures in IT, SaaS, ERP, AI, and drone tech platforms .
- Build multi-sector pipelines across education, smart cities, PSU, logistics, and healthcare .
- Design localized sales strategies for each state.
- Prospect emerging cities with high digital transformation needs.
- Lead B2B and B2G deal cycles from prospecting to closure.
- Represent Bhionix Group at government & enterprise meetings .
- Deliver impactful product demos and executive consultations .
- Build strong C-suite relationships for long-term business partnerships .
- Build and scale high-performance sales teams across 5 states.
- Lead structured training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of accountability and innovation .
- Consolidate regional KPIs, sales funnels, and forecasts .
- Provide insights to Country Sales Head with data-driven reports.
- Monitor competition, client sentiment, and pricing trends.
- Partner with delivery, product, and operations teams.
- Ensure client satisfaction from onboarding to delivery.
- Share market insights with marketing & R&D for product innovation.
- Represent Bhionix Group at regional expos, summits, and IT forums .
- Build alliances with MSMEs, IT clusters, chambers of commerce, and accelerators .
- Monitor and review city-level sales pipelines .
- Approve high-value proposals and negotiations.
- Conduct client visits to government and institutional buyers .
- Lead weekly regional team huddles and progress reviews.
- Submit regular progress reports to the Country Sales Head.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or IT; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 6–10 years in IT/SaaS/consulting sales with at least 3 years managing regional teams.
- Exposure: Strong familiarity with Eastern India's enterprise & government ecosystem .
- Regional enterprise/government sales leadership .
- Consultative selling & negotiation at CXO level.
- Experience with CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce) & KPI dashboards.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and one Eastern regional language (Odia, Bengali, Assamese, etc.).
- Lead digital transformation in India's fastest-emerging markets .
- Work across multiple industries (IT, healthcare, drones, education, hospitality, AI, Industry 4.0, metaverse) .
