We are looking for qualified and experienced professional in Business Development at Essar Constructions India Ltd, Mumbai


Responsibilities:


  • Build Company’s market position in India
  • Collaborate with company management to prepare and implement the company's Marketing and Business Development strategy
  • Develop, define, negotiate, and close business relationships for the Company.
  • Explore & discover new business opportunities in India & propose potential business deals by networking with potential clients.
  • Collaborate & work out technical tie ups, joint ventures, MOU’s with prospective business partners.
  • Proactively survey & understand the market, develop market intelligence, analyse the competitor / geographies, assess the government polices across the globe conducive for business growth.
  • Protect Organization's values by keeping information confidential. Sign off Non-Disclosure Agreements with clients.
  • Maintain excellent rapport and develop new opportunities within existing customer base.
  • Liaise with senior executives of prospective clients to understand their requirements and position Company’s value proposition and brand.
  • Attend Seminars, Award Ceremonies, give presentations, sponsor events to enhance branding of the Company.
  • Enrich professional network & leverage the same for achieving organizational goals.
  • Coordinate and take accountability for the entire proposal / bidding process (preacquisition stage) with company's other departments such as engineering and design, estimator, project manager and senior management team to close business deals.
  • Collaborate with construction team throughout the project to ensure client and project team expectations are met.


The Person:


The individual must have 15 to 20 years of experience in Indian EPC Company of similar size and scale.

  • Strong track record in winning new business opportunities with new customers and developing new opportunities with existing clientele base in sectors such as Minerals & Metals, Hydrocarbons, Power, Infrastructure etc.
  • In-depth understanding of market, strategy in collecting market intelligence, analyzing competitor / geographies, assessing government polices released from time to time across the globe conducive for business growth.
  • Able to demonstrate clear and concise thought process, which is logical and innovative at the same time
  • Highly adept in looking at all options and evaluating them quickly and efficiently;
  • Excellent ability to multi-task
  • In-depth knowledge of International Tax, Contracts & Laws
