We at Coforge are hiring Associate Director of Sales with the following skillset:

Lead sales efforts in the focused Central Government ministries.Build and nurture relationships with senior bureaucrats, government officials, and decision-makers to influence and drive sales.Develop a thorough understanding of government tenders, procurement processes, and compliance requirements.Build and manage relationships with key OEMs and partners to develop joint strategies for winning government business.Provide strategic input and insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, bids, and other documentation necessary for government projects.

Key Requirements

:Proven experience of closing large business opportunities in Central Government during the last 3 financial years.At least 10-12 years of overall sales experience with a minimum of 5 years specifically in Central Government sales.Engineering graduate + MBA (preferred).Must have worked in a System Integration company, with deep familiarity in selling IT solutions to Central government.Strong knowledge of government business processes, including familiarity with government tenders, procurement policies, and contract management.Proven relationships with senior government officials and key OEMs.Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage complex government deals, excellent relationship management, and strategic thinking.Should be able to drive conversations with consulting and advisory bodies to identify new opportunities and drive them to closure.
