Job Summary: The Senior Pre-Sales Consultant will be a pivotal player in our sales team, responsible for driving the adoption of our Attack Path Discovery Platform and Vulnerability Assessment solutions. This role demands a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in pre-sales activities within the cybersecurity domain. Key Responsibilities: Technical Expertise and Solution Presentation: 1. Product Demonstrations: Conduct detailed and engaging product demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities of our Attack Path Discovery Platform and Vulnerability Assessment tools. Tailor presentations to address specific client needs and scenarios. 2. Technical Deep-Dives: Lead technical deep-dive sessions with clients to explain complex security concepts, architectures, and how our solutions address their unique challenges. 3. Customised Solutions: Design and present customised solutions that align with client requirements, demonstrating how our platforms can be integrated into their existing security infrastructure. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management: 4. Client Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to engage with potential clients, understanding their security posture, pain points, and objectives. Provide expert advice and recommendations on improving their security strategy. 5. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders within client organisations, ensuring all parties understand the value proposition of our solutions. 6. Trust Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organisations, acting as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity matters. Proof of Concept (PoC) Management: 7. PoC Planning and Execution: Design, manage, and execute PoCs to demonstrate the efficacy of our solutions in real-world scenarios. Ensure POCs are aligned with client expectations and requirements. 8. Success Criteria Definition: Work with clients to define success criteria for PoCs, ensuring clear objectives and measurable outcomes are established. 9. PoC Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during PoCs, ensuring any issues are promptly addressed and resolved. Proposal and Documentation: 10. RFP/RFI Responses: Lead the creation and submission of high-quality responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring our solutions are presented effectively and competitively. 11. Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architectures, integration guides, and deployment best practices. 12. Case Studies and Success Stories: Contribute to the development of case studies and success stories that highlight the value and impact of our solutions. Collaboration and knowledge sharing: 13. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to provide feedback on product features, market trends, and customer needs. Ensure alignment between sales initiatives and product development. 14. Training and Mentorship: Mentor and train junior pre-sales consultants, sharing best practices, technical knowledge, and sales strategies. 15. Industry Engagement: Stay updated with the latest trends, threats, and advancements in the cybersecurity field. Attend industry conferences, webinars, and training sessions to continually enhance your expertise. Operational Efficiency: 16. Sales Support: Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from lead qualification to contract negotiation. 17. CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system. 18. Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop with clients to gather insights on their experience, challenges, and satisfaction with our solutions. Use this feedback to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in pre-sales or a related technical sales role, with a focus on cybersecurity solutions, specifically attack path discovery platforms and vulnerability assessments, red teaming, security operations centres, and attack surface management. • Education: a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are highly desirable. • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack path analysis, threat modelling, VAPT, red teaming, SOC, and related technologies. • Communication Skills: exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Presentation Skills: demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations. • Customer-centric: a proven track record of building strong customer relationships and providing excellent customer service. • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively. • Travel: willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support sales activities.
