The Role We are seeking a passionate Community Partnerships Specialist to join our Communities for Children (CfC) team. This role is pivotal in supporting Community Partners and local stakeholders to deliver initiatives that improve social outcomes for children, young people and families. You will maintain strong community connections, promote capacity building, and contribute to the strategic direction of the CfC program. This position will be offered on a fixed term full time basis working 76 hours a fortnight until December 2026. Key Responsibilities: Develop, create, and provide relevant data collection tools and process documents. Assist in the analysis of community data and identify trends to inform ongoing planning. Build and maintain positive relationships and networks within the community. Facilitate community consultations, reference groups, and focus groups. Ensure operational delivery of Communities for Children in line with program deliverables and contractual outcomes. Support in the completion of reports, financial acquittals, and evaluations in line with funding requirements. Ensure timely data entry into DEX and maintain communication with funder representatives. Monitor Community Partner contracts and performance to ensure compliance. This position is based in Armadale , with travel across Perth Metro sites as required. About You You are purpose-driven and passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people, families, and communities. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. You are as invested in people, as you are contract compliance and data entry and believe community are the foundation for creating long lasting change. Essential Criteria: Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Business, or related field. Experience working with children, families, and communities in a similar role. Strong research, analysis, and community consultation skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively. Knowledge of child development, social disadvantage, and asset-based community development. Familiarity with DEX (Data Exchange) and compliance requirements. Valid driver’s licence, Police Clearance, and Working With Children Check.
