Job Title: Techno-Commercial Engineer – Government TenderingKey Responsibilities:Identify, track, and evaluate relevant government tenders (State & Central Govt., PSUs, etc.) through portals and notifications.Prepare and submit technical & commercial proposals in line with tender requirements and deadlines.Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Production, Finance, Legal) to gather necessary documents and certifications.Conduct technical bid evaluations, compliance checks, and ensure all submissions meet tender specifications.Handle pre-bid meetings, clarifications, and negotiations with tender authorities.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government procurement policies, Ge M portal, e-procurement systems, and compliance requirements.Prepare cost estimations, price bids, and profitability analysis.Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, consultants, and contractors.Ensure timely follow-up on submitted tenders and manage post-award activities (LOIs, POs, contracts).Track competitors’ tendering strategies and provide inputs for business growth.Key Requirements:Qualification: B. E./B. Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Industrial) or equivalent.Experience: 4–5 years in government tendering, techno-commercial, or bidding roles.Strong knowledge of tender documentation, contracts, BOQ, rate analysis, and cost estimation.Hands-on experience with Ge M portal, CPPP, e-tendering, and e-procurement platforms.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).Preferred Skills:Experience in industrial products / engineering solutions / infrastructure projects tendering.Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliances, and commercial terms in tenders.Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
