Tasks

YOURCHALLENGES IMPRESSIVE

The mainpurpose of this role as Data Center Services Manager / CriticalFacility Services Manager is to manage our Data Center technicallyand to ensure 24/7 Operations as well as a proper delivery of ourcontracted technical services to the client on the agreed site interms of quality health & safety andfinance.

Your keyresponsibilities indetail:

  • Provideleadership and that contractual commitments are met andexceeded
  • Ensure that opportunities for thestrategic development of the contract are explored to deliverincreased turnover and profitability ensure additional services andprojects are added and contracts are rewon onretender
  • Ensure the provision of healthy andsafe working conditions and that both clients and Company healthand safety policy and process is
  • effectivelyimplemented across both our teams services and subcontractorsactivities and are regularly review
  • Ensurecontracts are staffed by fully competent teams ensuring postholders are fully competent and that effective successionplanning
  • arrangements are inplace
  • Ensure appropriate control systems toensure statutory policy and contractual commitments aremet
  • Ensuring a customer focus within all areasof operational activities and that effective relationships aremaintained with key client contacts
  • Provisionof leadership and guidance advice coaching and direct support whererequired to deliver best practice selection training assessment andrecognition/reward
  • Delivering effectivebusiness communication through advice review leadership and directcontribution to management and team meetings briefings consultationforums correspondence publicity monthly and adhoc reporting andother publications asappropriate

YourSupervisory Responsibilities indetail:

  • Providesformal supervision to individual employees within single functionalor operational area
  • Recommends staffrecruitment selection promotion advancement corrective action andtermination
  • Plans and monitors appropriatestaffing levels and utilization of labor includingovertime
  • Prepares and delivers performanceappraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to furtherdevelop competencies
  • Leads by example andmodels behaviors that are consistent with the companysvalues
Requirements

YOURPROFILE

  • Proven trackrecord in a management role which has included responsibility forservice culture people and businessgrowth
  • Previous experience in criticalenvironments and/or data centre environments and one or more of thefollowing: M&E facilities management projects buildingservices
  • Stout experience in dealing with arange of people from junior to senior level including siteemployees suppliers and customers
  • Enthused by afast paced high growth environment with the affinity to work in amatrix organisation
  • Results focused with thedrive to grow the business
  • Relevant technicaldegree as Electronics Technician (m/f/d) or Electrical Engineer(m/f/d) or equivalent
  • Good understanding ofelectrical maintenance necessary
  • Commercialawareness / Business acumen should beselfexplanatory
  • Ability to understandcommercial and financial metrics is necessary incl. goodorganization skills and an eye fordetails
  • Experience in internal and externalclient management
  • Highly developedinterpersonal and communicationskills

  • High degree ofintegrity and sincerity
  • Excellent presentationskills written verbal and presentation
