NA has a client that is seeking a DataModeler in Doral FL. Summary: The role is responsible for designingintegrations schemas and databases that meet organizational needsusing conceptual logical and physical data models. You should havegood experience with Informatica Power Center to load and transformdata. The majority of work will involve data analysis and modellingof the data warehouse databases along with designing ETL processes(under the guidance of the Supervisor and/or Data WarehouseArchitect). The Data Modeler is also responsible for developing andenforcing database/data model standards. This person should alsohave good understanding of Data modernization and governance.Duties Include: * Design develop and enforce data models/ETLintegrations and naming standards across all deliverables * Reverseand forward engineer Business legacy data models * Effectivelycommunicate the technical data integration requirements design anddecisions that support the functional needs of Data Engineering toboth IT and Business members via verbal or documentation * Reducedata redundancy consolidation transformation and training ofBusiness and IT members * Design and develop data lineagewith/without preexisting documentation; Create and maintain currentand target state data integration models and flows; Reverse andForward engineer Business data models to the level needed forbusiness Analytics usage * Develop an understanding of Businessprocesses and the corresponding system architecture in order tomodernize the environments * Partner with the Business Intelligenceteams in defining the end state reporting goals and/or dashboardrequirements; Design and develop Data models and solutions requiredto meetthem

    • MustHaves
  • Lookingfor a strong Data Modeling and Strong informatica designcapabilities. This is not a dev role
  • Experience in design &development of Informatica mappings50%
    • Experience in oracle / SQL
    • Experience in Linux /Unix
  • Experience in data modeling ofData warehouse solutions50%
    • Experience with ER Studio or anysimilar tool
  • Experience withInformatica cloud migration is anadvantage

RequiredSkills : * Bachelor s or Master s degree specialized in areasrelated to Information management Computer Science or equivalentfield * DAMA Data Certifications (preferred) * 10 years of deepdata modelling and architecture experience * 7 years of experiencein data modelling database design and data architecture; Experiencein the Travel and Hospitality industry a plus * Proficient in DataLineage/Modeling tools (ER Studio). Informatica toolsets includingData Archive EDC Oracle database; Expert understanding of Datawarehouse design * Knowledge of Business Intelligence toolsutilization including Hyperion SAS Tableau or Microsoft Power BI *Knowledge of Data modelling Data lineage andStandards
