Retail Channel Manager

To set up the Retail Business in the region.
Business Planning and taking care of the P&L of the business.
Multiple products in General Insurance segment (Health, Motor, Travel etc).
1- Achievement of Business Plan
- To Plan and implement the business plan for the region.
- Internalize the management philosophy and business strategy of the company and drive it in the region.
- Ensure that new customers are onboarded, and the existing customer base is engaged.
- Ensure that new joined / team members are constantly inducted, activated and productive for the team.
- Drive the incentive schemes to ensure that the income of the Unit Managers/BDMs exceed benchmark of productivity.
2 - Team Building
- Recruit Quality resources - Unit Managers/BDMs.
- Goal Setting of all Unit Managers/BDMs in the region.
- Regular and periodic review, monitoring and mentoring of the Unit Managers/BDMs to ensure that they are on track to achieve their goals.
- Regular trainings of the team to equip them with the necessary skill sets to perform optimally.
- Ensure that the defined sales process of the company is adhered to by the team.
- Identify and groom the future leaders in the team.
3- Business Expansion
- Identify potential business pockets in the location or territory.
- Appoint manpower in these locations to procure business.
- Ensure multiple product penetration in the market.
- To ensure: the team is actively engaged in cold callings, client meets & Cross selling.
4- Liaison with central office
- Own the resource and expense budget for the region.
- Drive the R&R schemes floated by Central Office from time to time.
- Design Marketing activities and implement them.
- Support the team in liaison with Central Office for addressing their requirements/concerns.
- Percolate the management guidelines to the entire team.
- Being fully compliant to all the norms laid down by the regulators and the company.
