Job Purpose StatementResponsible for driving profitable growth of the Lease Rental Discounting/Developer Finance Business within a designated geographical zone from developers. This role will involve managing relationships with clients in the real estate sector, structuring innovative financing solutions, and collaborating with ecosystem partners to provide tailored financing offeringsDuties & ResponsibilitiesEstablish regional specific strategies and lead regional teams for LRD (Lease Rental Discounting) & Developer Finance product lines, setting the strategic direction and objectives aligned with overall business goals.Drive growth by developing a strong builder-focused business portfolio.Identify and pursue business opportunities within the builder and developer segments to expand client base & market LRD product segmentDrive micro-market assessment to understand the business potential & risks associated in the target geographies, key builders to target, their project delivery track, reputation in market etcBuild long-term relationships with leading builders and construction companies, fostering trust and securing ongoing business.Implement best practices for the commercial LRD vertical to enhance the efficiency of processes, from loan application to disbursement.Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate and adjust the performance of the LRD portfolio.Monitor and report the performance of the region against established targets and KPIsEnsure adherence to regulatory, compliance and internal risk controls for the operations under their purviewManage regional credit risk & ensure quality of loan disbursements, portfolio management, developer project monitoring, and compliance with lending norms.Key Challenges (List the key tasks performed to support the main objectives of the position).The end-to-end management of client pipeline requires cross-functional stakeholder management & coordinationOptimizing pricing strategies, managing customer expectations, and ensuring compliance with commercial regulationsDecision Making Authority (Describes the type of decisions made alone, those on which the manager must be consulted, those referred to a higher level, and job procedures to be followed).Rejection of casesEvaluation of Financials of prospecting firms/customers.Recommending Institutional Tie-ups.Recommending New Product Design.Recommending CasesFinancial approvals for contracts as per authority matrixJob RequirementsProfessional QualificationSkills & KnowledgeLeadership CompetenciesFunctional CompetenciesCA/CFA/PGDM / MBA, in Finance/Marketing with more than 10 years of experience in LRD, real estate financing, or project finance, with a strong track record in business development with builders and developers in the assigned zone.Sound product knowledge.Good networking skillsLeadership & team management skills.Resource optimisation.Financial acumenDecisions makingStrategic orientationInnovation Led Transformation.Result Orientation with Execution excellence.Customer Focus.CollaborationAgilityBoldResilienceProven expertise in growing businesses balanced with risk assessment, credit structuring, and compliance for LRD.Strong negotiation, relationship management, and leadership abilities
