As a Junior Pre Sales Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and maintaining strong customer relationships. What You'll Do

· Be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their technical issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining a positive experience.

· Manage the support ticket queue by triaging, prioritizing, troubleshooting, and escalating tickets as necessary.

· Take full ownership of assigned incidents, performing root cause analysis, implementing solutions, and proactively preventing future issues.

· Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high standards in problem resolution.

· Provide after-hours on-call support, as required, based on a rotation schedule.

· Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous service improvements.

· Follow Datamotive's best practices for incident management, documentation, and customer communications.

· Deliver superior customer service while upholding Datamotive's business ethics and values.

· Handle sensitive company data responsibly in compliance with data protection policies.

· Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who You Are & What You'll Bring

Technical Qualifications:

· 2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure support.

· Strong experience with VMware and at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

· Understanding of cloud-based services such as Backup as a Service (BaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS).

· Experience with disaster recovery tools like Zerto and Veeam (preferred but not required).

· Proficiency in virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud security best practices.

· Experience in troubleshooting mission-critical cloud environments and implementing scalable, highly available architectures.

· Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation (nice to have).

· Exposure to monitoring and logging tools for proactive issue detection.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Certifications such as:

o AWS Certified Solutions Architect / AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

o VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
