Role: Business Development Manager/ Key Account ManagerFood IngredientsJob Location: Mumbai BengaluruDelhi EducationalRequirement: 1) B.Tech/M.TechFood Technology or equivalent degree2)Graduate with MBA or equivalent degree (with good Commercialexperience)Experience: 10 15 years ofrelevant industry experience preferably selling of food ingredientsto industries such as bakery confectionery dairy Nutritionalsupplements etc About therole: The job entailsdeveloping/generating business for Food Ingredients products byimplementing / executing strategies for growth through the productlines of leading principals we represent to achieve the division sobjective &targets.
ProductKnowledge: Should know product application and customer base offollowing products: Cocoa Powder Defoamers Fat Powders LactosePotato Starch Preservatives Fibers Probiotics and WheyPowders.
BriefDescription of Duties: Responsible for achieving the divisions sales & receivablestargets. Keeping track of industry trendsabout market development identifying new products competitiveactivity customers etc. Develop &maintain relations with customers including key accounts andstrengthen existing relationships. Mustconsistently track the development of sales strategies and actresourcefully to achieveorganizational goalsand objectives. Using knowledge of themarket and competitors identify and develop unique sellingpropositions and differentiators forproducts. Identify new businessopportunities for products / Principals.Handle & guide a team of techno commercialprofessionals. SkillsSet/Area of Expertise: Hands on experienceon selling products such as Starches Whey proteins Cocoa powdersYeast extract Preservatives etc. PeopleManagement Skills Possess good communication& strategic prospecting skills.Sound analytical & problemsolving skills good negotiationskills & growth mindset Willing totravel extensively PreferredExperience:Should have commercial experienceof handling customers from food industries such as bakeryconfectionery dairy ice cream etc would be an addedadvantage Exposure in handling Key accountsas well as mid & small sizecustomers Experience in handling customersfrom different regions of India Competencyto identify new products/applications to grow thebusiness
