Job Description

Role: Administrative-1240

Estimated Duration: 6+ months

Location: Phoenix, AZ

 

Position Description     
This position will manage the Team Based Early Intervention Request for Proposal project through the development process for the Arizona Early Intervention Program. This includes but is not limited to the following: Establishing project scope and critical path schedule; Facilitates project research; Prepares documents and/or standard work related to project development; Monitor and tracks project timelines, milestones and development process related to project scope, schedule and quality; Provides project updates on a regular basis about strategy , adjustments and progress; Serves as a program liaison for project related correspondence; Participate in program planning and facilitates meetings and presentations as applicable.

 

Skills Required  

Knowledge of: Federal, State law, government policies, and practices; State government Request for Proposal process; Project development/management process; Google Suite computer applications; Effective verbal and written communication; Administrative and interpersonal relation; Planning and organization; Problem identification and solving Negotiation and conflict resolution; Leadership and motivation. Ability to: Interact with internal and external partners; Conduct research and analyze, interpret, and evaluate a wide variety of data; Develop implementation strategies for complex projects; Initiate and maintain effective working relationships to enhance the compassion at various levels toward successful completed of program projects; establish project activities; set priorities, make independent decisions; develop efficient work processes such as interagency coordination of internal/external marketing strategies, eLearning platforms, guidance documents, standard work development and website revisions; track multiple assignments effectively; handle sensitive, confidential and complex issues; interpret federal/state law/government policies; research and/or coordinator research on a variety of confidential issues related to the program, compile data, compose reports; and write professional correspondence; provide quality internal and external customer service.

Experience Required
The candidate must have experience in project management, strategic planning and policy development.

 

Experience Preferred
The ideal candidate will have experience in Early Childhood Education/Special Education, Early Intervention, Human Services, Child and Family Social Services or related areas. State government operations programming; Contract implementation

 

Education Required
Masters Level Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, Human Services, Health Care Compliance, Policy/Government or related field and 7 years of relevant experience of working and/or contracting in the state government sector or federally funded programs.
