Job Purpose
The incumbent oversees all aspects of Admissions and Recruitment and will lead the Admissions process from Inquiry through Enrollment and some aspects of Marketing, especially BTL. They will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short-term and long-term Admission strategies to ensure the Organization meets Admission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions
Strategize and achieve Admission targets across all schools
Plan, develop, execute and monitor the successful conversion of leads generated by the Marketing team. Development and management of a Customer Service ethos throughout the Admissions process (e.g. ensuring all turnaround times are met)
Develop and own the complete Admission process - from enquire to enrollment
Develop and own the systems and platforms used in the Admission process
Conduct regular training sessions with the Admission Counsellors to drive high standards of counselling, school tours, telephonic conversations and system management.
Visit schools on a regular basis to observe, audit, and monitor the on-ground execution of processes and give feedback to ensure a constant loop of training, observation, and feedback for continuous improvement.
Drive fast turnaround time and seamless parent experience across various stages of the process.
Design and implement SOPs to drive a high standard of parent experience at the campuses to positively impact visit to admission conversions
Communication and Marketing
Lead and develop a communications plan with prospective clients to move them from inquiry to enrollment.
Lead the development of admissions materials, events, and marketing practices.
Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop the overall marketing campaign for the school and work strategically with the school’s constituents to ensure an integrated, engaging and effective identity
Work closely with the Principals and Heads of Schools, and the Central academic team to bring in events and classroom learnings in the admission counselling.
Drive awareness for the school through BTL activities
Drive lead generation through BTL activities and strategic tie-ups with preschools, corporates etc
Strategy
Plan, forecast and analyse market demand and student admission trends in coordination with senior management to attract and admit more students.
Design and directing market research initiatives including mapping of the market for competitors, target audience and feeder entities.
Provide timely and regular reports to senior management with up-to-date statistics and analysis of student admissions and making recommendations
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Able to lead, coach and mentor a team of admission counsellors to achieving targets
Highly process- and system-oriented
Highly achievement-oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to create, read and interpret reports and dashboards
Experience of implementing and running SOPs to drive customer-facing operations
Experience in tech-enabled admission environments involving lead management using CRM tools, visualization through MIS tools, multi-channel lifecycle marketing, etc.
