Job Description:


Fairfest Media Limited, the organizer of OTM, TTF, Municipalika and BLTM is an established leader in trade shows in India, with clients from over 60 countries.


We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented individual to join our team as Sales Executive for Government and Smart Cities sectors, for our industry leading trade show and conference Municipalika.


The primary responsibility of this role is to engage with potential state governments and smart cities, secure participation in Municipalika and maintain strong relationships with existing government clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and communication skills, along with understanding of B2B Events : Trade Fairs and Conferences.


Roles & responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Municipalika, targeting government and smart city officials.
  • Coordinate with the design and content teams to create compelling promotional materials and advertisements.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Analyze marketing data and feedback to refine strategies and enhance overall promotional effectiveness.
  • Act as the main point of contact for government clients participating in Municipalika, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the event cycle.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and tailor services to meet their specific needs.
  • Provide guidance on maximizing the value of participation and address any concerns or challenges.
  • Gather feedback from clients post-event and collaborate with internal teams to implement improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services or future event participation.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.


Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in sales or business development, preferably in the Government/Smart Cities sectors.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing deals.
  • Understanding of government/public sector ecosystem
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with government clients.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other team members.
