Job Title: HR Generalist

Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

HR Generalist

to support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR roles within the IT sector, a passion for employee engagement, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with employees across all levels of the organization.

The role also involves leading a young and dynamic HR team, ensuring their growth and alignment with the company's goals. The candidate should be comfortable traveling for 2-3 days in a month when required to visit client and employee locations.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Communication

Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.Promote employee engagement through activities, initiatives, and well-being programs.Foster open communication channels to ensure employee feedback is heard and addressed.HR Administration & Records Management

Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, security, and confidentiality.Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.Handle the preparation and distribution of HR-related documentation.Payroll & Benefits Administration

Process payroll and administer employee benefits accurately and on time.Ensure timely enrollment and management of employee benefits, including health insurance and leave entitlements.Compliance & Policy Adherence

Support compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and industry regulations.Assist in the development and revision of HR policies and procedures.Performance Management & Employee Development

Support performance review processes, goal-setting, and feedback mechanisms.Facilitate employee training and development initiatives.Leadership & Coordination

Lead and mentor a young HR team, fostering their professional development.Ensure the HR team is aligned with the company's vision and objectives.Coordinate travel and client interaction when required.

Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication to effectively engage with employees at all levels.Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Confidentiality : Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.HR Knowledge : Basic understanding of labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices.Problem-Solving : Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Time Management : Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience : 3 to 7 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, preferably in the IT sector.HR Practices : Familiarity with the latest HR practices, including payroll and benefits administration.
