Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR roles within the IT sector, a passion for employee engagement, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with employees across all levels of the organization.


The role also involves leading a young and dynamic HR team, ensuring their growth and alignment with the company's goals. The candidate should be comfortable traveling for 2-3 days in a month when required to visit client and employee locations.


Key Responsibilities


Employee Engagement & Communication
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Promote employee engagement through activities, initiatives, and well-being programs.
  • Foster open communication channels to ensure employee feedback is heard and addressed.
HR Administration & Records Management
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, security, and confidentiality.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.
  • Handle the preparation and distribution of HR-related documentation.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Process payroll and administer employee benefits accurately and on time.
  • Ensure timely enrollment and management of employee benefits, including health insurance and leave entitlements.
Compliance & Policy Adherence
  • Support compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and industry regulations.
  • Assist in the development and revision of HR policies and procedures.
Performance Management & Employee Development
  • Support performance review processes, goal-setting, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Facilitate employee training and development initiatives.
Leadership & Coordination
  • Lead and mentor a young HR team, fostering their professional development.
  • Ensure the HR team is aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
  • Coordinate travel and client interaction when required.


Skills & Qualifications


Core Skills
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • HR Knowledge: Basic understanding of labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 7 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, preferably in the IT sector.
  • HR Practices: Familiarity with the latest HR practices, including payroll and benefits administration.
