EngineerMaintenance Civil

Job Purpose

Responsible for overall civil maintenance of designatedarea.

To assist Sr. Engineer maintenance incarrying out the maintenance activities.

Job Accountabilities

Follow procedures and practices for site civil maintenanceactivities

Conduct evaluation of contractors andrecommend contractor for maintenance.

Interactwith Contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion ofmaintenance contracts

Regular Onsite supervisionof maintenance activities

Validate costing andinvoices of contractors and vendors

Periodicallymonitor and report maintenance cost and progress

Maintain records and documentation for allactivities

Responsible for managing maintenancecost and budgeting

Ensure Compliance tostandards procedures and best practices

Coordinate with functional groups for technicalsupport

Facilitate commissioning of minorproject

Periodic Performance monitoring andreporting

Responsible for Contractor managementTurnaround and shutdown coordination and execution

Acquire mastery in ones own area

Conduct Obsolescence and Knowledge management

Provide support to minor projects

Timely adherence to audit schedules Timely completion ofdifferent maintenance jobs

Good qualifiedcontractors for the civil maintenance activities

Adherence to schedule and planning

Improve manpower productivity of E&M

Contracts are not over run and are within thebudget

Help to have correct approach toRCAs

Reduction in Equipment maintenancecosts

Ensure improvement in availability ofequipment ensure BEP and SMPs are followed

Smooth take over and commissioning of projects as perspecifications and drawings.

Plant ReliabilityIntegrity of plant

Timely completion of jobsAbility to minimize production/ quality loss in event of unplannedfailure Smooth take overs of new projects

Maintenance ofBuilding & Civil Work

Maintenance &Construction of General Civil Works Concrete works steel structuresmarine structures and specialized civil works

Roads & Pavements

Geotechnical& Hydraulics Engineering

Surveying &Levelling Structures

Refractory Maintenance Work& Reliability of Civil Works.

National &International Codes

Safe Working Practices &Selfmotivated and strong organizational skill

Civil Maintenance Management

Followapplicable HSE procedures/ practices

Monitor andaudit compliance with applicable HSE procedures/practices

Track new regulations (local andinternational) and provide structured mechanism forcompliance

Acquire mastery in ones ownarea

Leadership strong interpersonal Managerialorganizing and coordinating skill

Delegationskill and prioritization time management skill

Key Attributes (Experience andQualifications)

Qualification : B.E Or B. Tech in CivilEngineering

Experience: Atleast 4 to 7 years
