Develop and implement sales strategies and plans for the general trade channel to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and buyers within general trade accounts.
Understand their needs and preferences to align product offerings accordingly.
Ensure that the company's products are prominently displayed and easily accessible within general trade outlets.
Collaborate with visual merchandising teams when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies in the general trade sales process.
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company's presence within the general trade channel by identifying potential new accounts or partnerships.
Desired skills/experience:
5-6 years of work experience in FMCG industry
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (often preferred).
Proven experience in sales and account management, particularly in the general trade sector.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
