Role & responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end immigration processes for outbound employee movement from India to countries such as the UK, Canada, EU nations, Middle East, Australia and APAC regions (excluding the US).
  • Liaise with external immigration consultants, legal advisors, and government authorities to facilitate visa/work permit applications.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including HR, Talent Acquisition, and Business Units to support international assignments and travel.
  • Maintain accurate records of immigration documentation and ensure timely renewals/extensions.
  • Monitor changes in immigration laws and regulations across relevant countries and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on visa requirements, documentation, and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with global mobility policies and mitigate immigration risks.
  • Prepare periodic reports and dashboards for leadership on immigration metrics and compliance status.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in law mandatory.
  • 2-6 years of experience in handling non-US immigration processes, preferably in a multinational or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of global immigration laws and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HRIS or mobility platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with immigration consultants or legal firms.
  • Exposure to global mobility or international HR operations.
