Job Title: Head – Project Quality Location: Chikhli, Gujarat RoleOverview: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Head – Project Quality to lead the quality function across manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality management, with a strong focus on ensuring adherence to international standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement throughout the Project Lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: ·Define and implement project quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) strategies for large scale manufacturing projects ·Establish and maintain a quality culture across the engineering, procurement, and construction phases. ·Ensure compliance with national and international quality standards (, IEC, IS, ISO 9001, NEC, MNRE guidelines). ·Deep understanding of quality protocols. ·Develop quality manuals, inspection test plans (ITPs), checklists, and documentation procedures. ·Ensure all materials and workmanship meet design specifications and contractual obligations. ·Lead on-site quality inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests). ·Conduct internal and third-party audits of project quality processes. ·Ensure NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) and corrective actions are tracked and resolved promptly. ·Lead and mentor QA/QC teams at corporate and site levels. ·Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure materials and work execution meet quality benchmarks. ·Participate in pre-dispatch inspections for major components (modules, inverters, transformers, etc.). ·Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards, and compliance trackers for management. ·Familiarity with relevant quality codes and standards (IEC, ISO, IS, NEC, BIS, etc.). ·Knowledge of construction standards for civil, electrical, and mechanical systems in solar projects. Experience: ·15+ years of experience in Project Quality Assurance roles , primarily in setting up of manufacturing facilities (> 1000 Cr Capex per project) ·Experience of managing quality function across the full EPC lifecycle – from design to commissioning. ·Experience of setting up Project Quality COE within the organization would be preferred ·Experience of managing quality function multiple simultaneous capex projects in manufacturing sector would be preferred Certifications (Preferred): ·ISO 9001 Lead Auditor ·Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) ·PMP or equivalent project management experience is a plus
