Job Description

Role Summary:The Lead Process Engineer is responsible to make decisions on water reuse,wastewater treatment & Zero Liquid Discharge system process design, arrive at riskbalanced scheme as well as to trouble-shoot projects with effective managementskills. The position requires a combination of technical process design along withcommercial expertise in technical sales & customer relationship with proven trackrecord to lead process design during both technical proposal preparation andproject execution.Essential Responsibilities / Expectations:Edit or provide input to Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and InstrumentationDiagrams and Process Data Sheets in support of design projects. Provide process flow diagrams for tough to treat waste water,· Perform Biowin simulation (STP), Heat and Material Balances (ZLD)· Develop sizing of key process plant equipment like MBR, RO, ZLD etc· Provide technical field support in troubleshooting and root cause analysis forintegrated flow sheets· Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers· Document and communicate results of technical data generated· Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiativesPresent lessons learnt, publish internal tech notes based on lesson learnt· Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assignedprojects and tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.Educational Qualification:Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemical EngineeringKey Skills required:Must have competency:Basic and detailed understanding of biological & zero liquid discharge systemswhich includes mass and heat balance, sizing of equipments and detailedunderstanding of P&ID.Should be capable of integrating various unit operations to build a flow sheet forcomplex effluents like coke oven etcExposure to HAZOP during P&ID review with consultants, perform safety analysisof P&IDCapable of handling customer meetings during execution and trouble shootingGood communication and Presentation skillsGood to have competenciesExposure to commissioning will be added advantageRoot cause analysis through quality toolsConceptual understanding of few industries like steel, F&B will be added advantageHigher education like ,
