About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Process Engineer.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead group initiatives that encompass research and future state requiring application of specialized knowledge or skills critical to the redesign efforts
  • Ensure effective relationships among the design teams and partners
  • Develop root cause research and business case for proposed technology, staff and structure changes, including cost estimates
  • Establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements utilizing formal process engineering tools and methods
  • Ensure development of metrics that provide data for future improvement opportunities
  • Ensure appropriate application of cultural focus, tools, and statistical approach
  • Coach multiple redesign teams
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance / business administration / qualified Chartered Accountant / ICWA
  • Proficiency/ exposure to tools like Power BI/ Power Apps/ Python / Alteryx / AI etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to cultivate strong and collaborative working relationships with business teams, managers and senior leaders
  • Proficiency in interpersonal, influencing, project coordination and communication skills
  • 15-18 years of work experience in Process Engineering /Process Excellence / Transformation / Finance role in banking / consulting domain
  • Any exposure or any relevant certification in Lean / Six Sigma or any exposure in digital transformation
  • This is a non - operations role however open to hiring professionals from operations background in Finance who are interested to build an alternative career
Job Expectations:
  • Shift: largely mid-shift (1.30 PM - 10.30 PM IST) however extended working hours are possible based on business requirements.
